Nightforce Optics is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support daily machine shop operations, including full setup and operation of CNC and manual equipment. This role works closely with other machinists to maintain efficiency, meet deadlines, and handle moderately complex machining tasks.

Nightforce Optics is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to support daily machine shop operations, including full setup and operation of CNC and manual equipment. This role works closely with other machinists to maintain efficiency, meet deadlines, and handle moderately complex machining tasks.
Location: Orofino, ID
Shifts: Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
What you will be doing: Essential Job Duties
- Have the ability to set-up and run CNC Machines without supervision
- Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate
- Help monitor the overall quality of parts and assemblies produced in the shop
- Detect and report defective equipment, materials, and/or faulty operations
- Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times
- May mentor and assist in the training of other CNC Machinists and Machine Shop Production Workers
- Contribute to the implementation of new production techniques to improve production levels and quality.
- Assist with identifying opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure preventative maintenance is performed on all machines
- Assist in facilitation outside processes including anodizing, heat treating, and parts finishing
