CNC Machinist Tool & Die Maker

Job Summary

· Responsible for all aspect of build and final Assembly of Progressive dies and Fixtures.

General Accountabilities

· Responsible All aspect of tool & Die manufacturing with little to no Supervision.

· Die maker must be able to operate all tool room equipment including CNC machines.

· Ability to troubleshoot most tooling issues or problems.

· Must be able to work in close tolerances +/-.0002

· May be required to supervise subordinate level machinist.

· Identifies opportunities to improve products or reduce costs.

Job Qualifications

· Education: High School Math and English equivalent

· Experience: 3 or more years in a Machining or similar environment

Skills

· Mechanical Aptitude

· Use of measuring devises: Micrometers, Vernier’s

· Dedicated and attention to detail

· Time management
