CNC Mill Setup Machinist

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CNC Mill Setup Machinist to join our dynamic team on our 1st Shift Mon - Fri 6AM - 3:30PM, Saturdays as needed from 6AM - 12:30PM. As a CNC Mill Setup Machinist, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality components that meet our rigorous standards. This position is essential to our commitment to innovation and excellence in manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Edit programs and set up HAAS EC630 Horizontal CNC Mill to produce precision parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements.
• Perform quality checks using bore gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
• Maintain tooling and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machining processes and product quality.
• Adhere to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
  
  

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a CNC Mill Setup Machinist.
• Experience operating CNC lathes
• Familiarity with Fanuc CNC controls
• Familiarity with Haas CNC controls
• 3+ years experience as a HORIZONTAL Mill Setup Machinist with 4 axis functions.
• Proficiency in G-Code, M-code, Fanuc controls and blueprint reading.
