We are seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our team in Waukesha, WI. Operate and maintain CNC machines to produce precision components according to engineering drawings and specifications, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC grinding machines.
- Interpret technical drawings and geometric dimensions/tolerances (GD&T).
- Select and mount grinding wheels and tools as required.
- Produce components within specified tolerances.
- Inspect parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges).
- Maintain quality standards and complete production logs.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and troubleshoot machine issues.
- Ensure proper handling of raw materials and consumables.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
- Report hazards and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Optimize programs for efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in training and stay updated on CNC grinding technology.
