CNC Machine Operator, Night Shift
Typical hours 4PM - 2:30AM / Monday - Friday
Night Shift employees receive Night Shift Premium of 10%
Location: General Die & Engineering, an ArtiFlex family company, 6500 Clay Avenue SW, Grand Rapids, MI (US 131 and 68th Street area)
GD&E, an Artiflex family company, is hiring a Night Shift Machine Operator to run our Gun Drill machine. Opportunity may exist to help with other machines. Our environment is a high-mix / low - volume shop. If you thrive on precision, challenge, and variety, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Operate our Gun Drill machine
- Operate CNC equipment, to machine tight-tolerance parts with quality as a top priority
- Perform setups and validate work using precision inspection tools
- Meet production deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency
Types of Other Machines we have in our shop:
- Horizontal CNC Mills
- Vertical CNC Mills
- 5-Axis CNC Mills
- EDM Sinker Machines
- Carbon Machining Equipment
- Gun Drilling Machines
You May Be A Great Fit If You Have:
- Machining experience, preferably in a die shop or tooling environment
- Strong knowledge of measuring and inspection tools
- Proven commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Team-oriented mindset with strong attention to detail
- Experience running a gun drill is desired.
