Job Purpose
We are looking for a Senior CNC Process Engineer to develop and improve CNC machining processes for high-precision components. You will lead new product introductions and drive efficiency across our precision machining operations.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization: Design and improve CNC machining processes for high-precision parts to maximize quality and efficiency.
Technical Planning: Define workflows, select tools, set cutting parameters, and design fixtures.
New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead trial runs, validate processes, and smoothly transition new products to mass production.
Troubleshooting: Analyze production data to fix quality issues, bottlenecks, and yield problems.
Cost & Efficiency: Optimize processes to increase throughput, improve cycle times, and lower manufacturing costs.
Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, technical documents, and engineering standards.
Team Support: Guide, mentor, and train machine operators and technicians.
Collaboration: Work with Design, Quality, and Production teams to meet project deadlines and specs.
Technical Support: Run feasibility studies and provide technical support for customers when needed.
Requirements
Education: Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, CNC Technology, or related fields.
Experience: At least 8 years of CNC machining process engineering experience in precision manufacturing.
Technical Knowledge: Strong expertise in CNC machining centers, precision machining, and multi-axis processes.
Tools & Fixtures: Proficient in tooling selection, fixture design, and machining optimization.
Software: Hands-on experience with CAM software like Mastercam, UG NX, or PowerMill.
Skills: Strong problem-solving, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
