  • Follow established procedures for handling, protecting, and tracking aerospace, defense, and semiconductor components.

  • Maintain organized storage areas, tool cribs, material carts, and production staging locations.

Shop Floor Organization and Safety

  • Maintain clean, orderly, and organized work areas in accordance with 5S and lean manufacturing principles.

  • Assist with routine housekeeping, scrap removal, chip management, and waste disposal in accordance with safety procedures.

  • Keep aisles, machine access areas, and material staging locations clear and organized.

  • Follow all company safety policies, personal protective equipment requirements, and material-handling procedures.

  • Identify and report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, and potential quality concerns.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that improve workflow, organization, efficiency, and shop-floor productivity.

Quality and Compliance

  • Follow applicable work instructions, material identification requirements, and part-handling procedures.

  • Help protect precision-machined components from damage, contamination, or mix-ups.

  • Support compliance with applicable quality management systems, including AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements, as applicable to assigned responsibilities.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with special projects, production priorities, and other manufacturing support tasks as assigned.

  • Cross-train in multiple support functions to provide flexible coverage across the production floor.

  • Maintain reliable attendance and respond appropriately to changing production demands.

  • Perform other duties consistent with the position and business needs.

Qualifications

Required
