CNC Programmer

The CNC Programmer optimizes machine-level execution and throughput by delivering CNC programming, tooling configurations, fixture designs, and all related items to support repeatable production operations.

Essential Functions

  • Write G-Code and conversational programs for CNC lathes, CNC mills and multi-axis CNC machines.
  • Provide tool lists and necessary setup documentation to operators for successful part creation.
  • Design simple workholding solutions, manufacturing aids, and support practical tooling implementation to improve repeatability, efficiency, and manufacturability.
  • Be able to provide coaching and technical support for program prove out and manufacturing challenges.
  • Execute programming based on established manufacturing processes (i.e. data sheets) and support part routing verification on the floor.
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering to implement process improvements and transition new processes into production.
  • Understanding of proper inspection methods and quality gaging.
  • Utilizes and creates documents in the Conax Technologies Wiki.
  • Exemplify core values of integrity, commitment, innovative thinking, customer centric, and teamwork.
