CNC Programmer Machinist
JOB SUMMARY
This position will program setup and operate CNC machine’s (e.g., Haas, Fadal, Hyundai-Kia, Fanuc, Kira).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1) Create new programs for newly developed products, as well as modify existing programs using Mastercam.
2) Setup and verify new programs for newly developed products, including uploading/downloading programs, setting up change tool offsets and operating the machine until batch completion as well as monitoring tool wear, adjusting offsets, and replacing inserts when necessary, ensuring correct operation of the machine.
3) Setup, adjust and perform operations with close tolerance and finish requirements on standardized parts, monitoring the feed/speed of machines during the machining process.
4) Use blueprints, gauges, precision, and torque measuring devices and/or other equipment to effectively machine parts and ensure conformance to quality specifications.
5) Conduct pre and post inspection on all machined parts and perform preventive maintenance as required.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
6) Assist in identifying issues and initiating corrective action processes as necessary.
7) Ensure all records are captured correctly.
8) Willingness to cross-train within the department, as well as learn other areas to support the Company’s needs.
9) Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
10) Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
11) Follow all standard operating procedures as they pertain to this position.
12) Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY/POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK
This job does not have any supervisory responsibilities. This is a full-time position; days and hours of work are typically Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day. However, this position may be required to work up to 12 hours per day, Friday’s, Saturday’s, or alternate shifts as job duties demand. Regular onsite attendance is expected and required.
