Zicana is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer / Stone Fabricator / Machine Operator to join our growing team. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with experience programming and operating CNC equipment used in the fabrication of natural and engineered stone.
Qualifications
- Experience programming and operating 5-axis bridge saws using AlphaCAM.
- Experience operating the CR ACTION MK2 using EasySTONE software.
- Experience programming and operating a Northwood SawJet using AlphaCAM.
- Proven experience fabricating and processing granite, marble, quartzite, quartz, porcelain, sintered stone, and other natural and engineered stone materials.
- Ability to read shop drawings, production tickets, CAD files, and fabrication specifications.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing exceptional quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
- Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and committed to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate CNC machines and waterjet equipment safely and efficiently.
- Review drawings and determine the most efficient machining strategy for each project.
- Monitor machining operations and make adjustments to ensure precision and quality.
- Inspect completed components to verify dimensional accuracy and finish quality.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and daily equipment care.
- Collaborate with the production team to meet fabrication schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
