We are looking for a CNC Programmer to join our growing production team. The CNC Programmer will prepare production files for vinyl plotters and CNC routing machines by translating engineering blueprints and CAD models into G-code/M-Code for automated tools. Optimizing the machine paths of the cutting tools to produce high quality manufactured parts.
Candidates must possess the following:
- Use CAD/CAM software to write, debug and code CNC Machines
- Ability to read production drawings and use a scale rule if needed
- Adjust machine settings and tool paths to enhance efficiency to achieve high-quality standard
- Troubleshoot code errors or mechanical issues
- Must have good mathematical skills
- Understanding of cutting tools, materials and machining process.
- Background in the sign-making or graphics industry helpful but not required
- Experience using one of the following software types is required: Enroute, Casmate, Flexi-sign, Adobe Illustrator or other graphics or CAD software
- Exceptional attention to detail needed to ensure accurate and precise manufacturing
