CNC Programmer

Job Summary

 Designs and writes programs for CNC machines

General Accountabilities

 They determine the appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each

operation.

 Troubleshoot and optimize existing programs to improve efficiency and quality

 Work closely with machinists, engineers, and other manufacturing personnel to

ensure smooth production

Job Qualifications

 Education: Associate’s/Technical certificate that focuses on CNC programmer or

related field preferred but, not required.

OR

 Experience: 1-5 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of

education and experience

 Research and implement new technologies.
