CNC Technician

Job Description
- Operate CNC machines including milling (3-axis & 5-axis) and turn-mill to produce precision components according to engineering drawings
- Set up workpieces and ensure all parts meet specified tolerances in the printed drawings
- Program CNC operations using MasterCAM with efficiency and accuracy
- Handle complex machining profiles and high-tolerance components
- Design jigs and fixtures for CNC setups and QC inspections
- Support production schedules and ensure timely delivery of commitments
- Provide technical input to Sales Engineers on new parts’ quotations, machining feasibility, and procedures
- Contribute ideas and feedback to improve production processes
- Maintain 5S workplace standards and follow safety regulations
Job Requirements
- NITEC/ Higher NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering,Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical sketches
- Skilled in using quality measuring equipment and selecting appropriate tools
- Proficiency in MasterCAM programming is an advantage
- Hands-on knowledge of CNC milling and lathe machine setup and operation is highly valued.
- Familiarity with tool selection for machining engineering plastics
- 5.5days’ work week and willing to work overtime
- Availability for 2 months rotating day/night shift with allowance
- Positive attitude, initiative, and strong problem-solving skills
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
