Summary of Position:
Midwest Hose is seeking a skilled CNC Tube Bending Programmer / Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC tube bending machinery to fabricate parts according to specifications. If you have experience with G-code programming, CAD/CAM software, and hands-on tube bending, we want to hear from you!
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, and operate tube bending machinery and equipment to bend structural metal pipe, tube, bar, etc. to specifications
- Develop, write, and modify CNC programs to meet production and quality requirements for tube bending operations
- Fabricate directly from drawings, samples, blueprints, or instructions without supervision
- Select all layouts, templates, or check fixtures
- Develop layouts from drawings, samples, or instructions
- Select all tools
- Check bent parts to drawing specification and tolerance using proper measurement and inspect equipment
- Inspect end product from bending operation to ensure accuracy maintain and operate tube bending equipment
- Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping station neat
- Display good work ethic
- Maintain professionalism in the work place
