Co-Founder & General Manager

Compensation: 15.0% – 25.0%

The Co-Founder & General Manager will lead the day-to-day development and commercial growth of WorkRecode, taking the venture from its existing product foundation to a validated, revenue-generating business.

Key responsibilities include:

Growth & Marketing

• Own positioning, messaging and go-to-market strategy.
• Define and validate ideal customer profiles and target markets.
• Build and execute marketing strategies across content, SEO, organic growth, partnerships, community and paid acquisition.
• Develop customer acquisition funnels and improve conversion through continuous experimentation and analytics.
• Establish WorkRecode's market presence and communicate its differentiated value proposition.

Commercial & Business Development

• Build and manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation through conversion and retention.
• Develop strategic partnerships, distribution channels and commercial relationships.
• Lead customer discovery, sales conversations and commercial negotiations.
• Test pricing, packaging and business model assumptions.
• Own commercial targets, pipeline reporting and revenue growth.

General Management & Operations

• Run WorkRecode's day-to-day operations with significant autonomy.
• Establish operating priorities, performance metrics, budgets and weekly reporting.
• Manage suppliers, subscriptions, routine administration and operational processes.
• Identify bottlenecks, improve efficiency and maintain accountability for business outcomes.
• Develop the operating model as the company grows.

Product & Customer Development

• Engage directly with learners and prospective customers to validate market needs.
• Translate customer feedback and usage data into product priorities.
• Monitor activation, engagement, retention and demonstrated capability improvement.
• Collaborate with the founder and technical/product team on roadmap decisions.
• Validate initial use cases and establish evidence of customer value.

AI-Native Company Building

• Build and operate WorkRecode using a coordinated workforce of specialised AI agents and automation.
• Apply AI to marketing, sales, customer success, research, reporting and business operations.
• Establish effective workflows, performance monitoring and human oversight for AI-supported activities.
• Build a scalable, capital-efficient operating model with minimal unnecessary overhead.

The Co-Founder & General Manager will work in partnership with the Founder & CEO of AI Deploy Labs, who will retain responsibility for overall venture strategy, major strategic decisions, fundraising and corporate matters.

The initial priority is to validate the commercial opportunity, establish a repeatable customer acquisition process and build a sustainable business.
