The Councils of Corangamite Shire, Moyne Shire and Warrnambool City have formed an ICT Joint Venture Alliance, South West Councils ICT Alliance (SWCICTA) to undertake a major project being the uplift of their entire ERP systems to a SaaS environment with supplier Technology One. The project commenced in July 2023 and is successfully achieved Go Live for Phase 1 Modules on July 1 2026.


As part of this initiative, we are seeking a Coastal Connect Business Analyst to support Phase 2 of the Coastal Connect Project.


This is a unique opportunity to be involved in a high-profile, collaborative project that will deliver significant long-term benefits for the participating Councils, and their communities, in having a shared system using common business processes.


Position Overview:

The Coastal Connect Business Systems Analyst will play a key role in deriving maximum return for all three Councils investment in IT systems across the entire organisation through a project management approach. A key component of the role will the delivery of outcomes for a Project that delivers customer and ratepayer access to an outward facing Portal based on the Technology One ERP.


Reporting to the Coastal Connect Project Manager, your primary responsibility will be to engage with stakeholders with a corporate outlook to deliver an innovative relevant business process and continuous business improvement. Considerable business acumen and the ability to engage senior executives in the vision and hard work of achieving change will be vital.


About You:

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with:

  • Proven experience in of working with TechnologyOne ERP Module as a Business Analyst, ideally in a local government or similar public sector environment.

  • Strong analytical skills, with a solid understanding and capture of business and system requirements.

  • Experience in data collection, gap analysis, and creating functional specifications.

  • A good understanding of project and process management methodologies

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • A detail-oriented mindset with the ability to identify issues, create solutions, and manage priorities effectively.


The Benefits

This is a temporary full-time role until 30 June 2027. The current base salary is $105,206.60 per annum (pro rata) exclusive of superannuation.
