Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Coating Supervisor to lead our blasting and painting team. You will oversee daily operations, manage manpower allocation, and ensure all surface preparation and coating activities meet project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Supervise, schedule, and coordinate the daily activities of coating applicators, blasters, and general workers.
- Project Execution: Monitor work progress to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and according to engineering specifications.
- Quality Assurance: Verify surface preparation standards (e.g., SSPC/NACE) and inspect final coating thickness, adhesion, and appearance.
- Technical Guidance: Interpret technical data sheets (TDS), review mixing ratios, and troubleshoot application issues or equipment failures.
- Safety Management: Enforce strict Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, conduct toolbox meetings, and ensure proper use of specialized PPE and ventilation.
- Documentation: Maintain daily logs, progress reports, material consumption records, and quality control (QC) sign-offs.
Note:
* Applicants with relevant work experience are preferred. (Eg Marine and Petrochemical onsite background with Technical Knowledge.)
* Please note that the stated salary is exclusive of overtime (OT) pay.
