Cobol Developer
Summary
Noesis, a Portuguese IT consultancy, is hiring a COBOL Developer in Lisbon to build and maintain mainframe systems. Day-to-day work centers on COBOL programming with DB2 databases, JCL, and CICS, requiring at least 3 years of COBOL experience and fluent English.
Noesis is looking for candidates with the following profile:
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Technical degree in Programming, Computer Engineering, or similar;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in COBOL programming;
- Solid experience with DB2;
- Proven experience with JCL and CICS;
- General knowledge of information systems (architecture and organisational design) — Plus
- Knowledge of test design methodologies — Plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills;
- Fluent English
