About the Role

American Christian Academy is seeking a passionate and innovative Coding / Computer Science Teacher to equip students with a strong foundation in computer science, programming, and digital literacy.

The ideal candidate will inspire students to become creative, ethical, and confident computational thinkers, preparing them for success in a technology-driven world.

Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in coding, computer science, computational thinking, and digital literacy.
* Teach age-appropriate programming languages and technology concepts across K–12.
* Foster critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving through technology-based learning.
* Create an interactive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and innovation.
* Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support continuous learning.

Requirements

* 2–7 years of relevant teaching experience in Computer Science, Coding, or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of programming concepts and digital technologies.
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
* Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
* Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit different learning levels.
