COFFEE SHOP GENERAL CLEANER

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties within the coffee shop and food court premises.

• Clean and maintain dining tables, chairs, floors, countertops and common areas.

• Clear used crockery, cutlery, food trays and other items from dining areas.

• Sweep, mop and remove spills, stains and rubbish to maintain cleanliness.

• Wash and clean dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment when required.

• Clean and sanitize food preparation areas, sinks and other designated areas.

• Collect, segregate and dispose of waste according to proper waste disposal procedures.

• Clean and maintain toilets and common facilities to ensure proper hygiene standards.

• Replenish cleaning materials and maintain cleaning equipment in good condition.

• Ensure the premises are clean and presentable for customers throughout operating hours.

• Follow workplace hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures.

• Carry out other cleaning and housekeeping duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping or general cleaning duties is an advantage but not mandatory.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, sanitation and hygiene practices.

• Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment and handle cleaning materials safely.

• Able to perform routine cleaning tasks and maintain cleanliness standards.

• Physically fit to perform cleaning duties, including standing, bending and handling cleaning equipment.

• Responsible, hardworking and able to follow instructions.

• Able to work independently as well as in a team.

• Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.

• Willing to work flexible working hours according to operational requirements.

• No formal educational qualification required.
