Collision Center Manager

Duties

  • Manage all aspects of the collision repair process, including estimating, repair planning, and quality control to ensure timely and precise vehicle restoration
  • Supervise technicians and support staff and have a daily work schedule for all personnel to maximize work flow
  • Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, and technical equipment while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) protocols
  • Coordinate with clients to communicate repair progress, explain technical details clearly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor shop productivity
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations within the collision repair shop environment

Skills

  • Proven collision center experience with a strong background in automotive body refinishing, auto painting, and auto restoration
  • Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, auto repair procedures, and defect resolution techniques
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, computer-aided vehicle damage estimating software, and other technical equipment
  • Familiarity with automotive materials such as paints, aluminum panels, metals for fabrication, auto glass installation, and heavy lifting techniques
  • Ability to perform detailed damage assessments and root cause analysis to improve repair quality
  • Strong client communication skills with a focus on transparency and professionalism
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to collision shop operations and PPE use; ability to enforce safety protocols consistently

  • Clean driving record with a valid non-suspended driver’s license
  • Background check and drug screen
  • Bilingual strongly recommended
  • High School diploma or equivalent
