Sitting directly within the Strategic Projects team, this newly created position offers exceptional mentorship, reporting directly to a Deputy Director who brings over 10 years of proven leadership, stability, and domain mastery within the organization. You will work side-by-side with senior leadership to shape high-stakes commercial deals, new venture models, and regional growth initiatives.
(Note: As this is a brand-new headcount initiative to support expanding portfolio projects, it is initially structured as a 1-year contract with strong renewal options and a clear pathway toward permanent conversion based on performance).
Construct and maintain dynamic financial models to evaluate joint ventures, revenue-share structures, pricing models, and investment returns.
Build dynamic business cases and operational frameworks for new partnership opportunities and expansion projects.
Analyze commercial contract drafts to identify financial risks, operational obligations, and margin implications.
Translate complex data into high-impact, decision-ready board papers and presentation decks for executive leadership.
Partner cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Operations teams to ensure seamless deal execution.
Conduct market intelligence, feasibility studies, and competitor benchmarking across key regional markets.
skills and experience required.
Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Commercial Finance, M&A Analysis, Financial Modelling, Big 4 Restructuring/Deal Advisory, Commercial Due Diligence (CDD), or Pricing/Commercial Strategy.
Strong proficiency in Excel (financial modelling, scenario and sensitivity analysis) and PowerPoint (executive decks).
Proven ability to review commercial contract terms and evaluate business and financial implications.
Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills.
Prior background in higher education, joint ventures, or corporate development is advantageous but not mandatory.
