Job Summary (List Format):
- Serve as a Senior Lead Software Engineer within the Commercial and Investment Banking's Equities Electronic Trading team.
- Play a key role in an agile team focused on enhancing, building, and delivering secure, stable, and scalable technology products for electronic trading.
- Develop and implement frameworks for continuous integration (CI) environments, driving adoption and evolution.
- Automate testing processes and manual workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Integrate electronic trading applications with front, middle, and back-office systems.
- Manage release processes, provide environment management, and offer production support as required.
- Conduct client, venue certification, and connectivity for exchanges, markets, and dark pools.
- Test and validate both individual applications and end-to-end system integrations.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders and clients to update, configure, and modify trading applications and related systems.
- Work with cross-functional teams including Application Development, Business Analysts, and Operations.
- Utilize advanced programming skills (Unix scripting, Python, Java) for automation, monitoring, and surveillance tasks.
- Create and automate test strategies and plans, covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Apply strong problem-solving skills to address design and functionality challenges independently.
- Leverage practical experience in cloud-native technologies and automation scripting (Shell/Perl/Python).
- Preferred: Electronic trading experience, familiarity with trading protocols (e.g., FIX), knowledge of equities trading stack, and exposure to kdb/q.
