Commercial & Business Operations Specialist (100%)
As a Commercial & Business Operations Specialist, you will help build scalable operations across Climeworks Solutions, including our commercial, project sourcing and customer success teams. You will translate business needs into robust processes, tools, analytics, and ways of working, enabling us to move faster, collaborate better, and make decisions based on reliable data. Together with your team, you will help design and scale digital products including a platform enabling customers to manage and monitor their carbon removal portfolios, bringing greater transparency, accessibility, and impact visibility to the market. This is a problem-solver and builder role for someone who is excited to turn ambiguity into structure and to shape how a high-growth commercial organization operates, today and tomorrow.
Process & operational excellence: You define and continuously improve processes across marketing, business development, sales, project sourcing, and customer success, towards more standardised, digital, and scalable ways of working. You drive adoption through documentation, training, and continuous feedback loops and act as a trusted sparring partner for operational topics.
Business analysis & solution design: You lead stakeholder meetings and workshops to understand business needs, map processes, define requirements, and translate them into practical solutions. You prioritise requests, manage trade-offs, and ensure improvements align with business priorities, system architecture, and available capacity.
Salesforce administration, marketing & sales tools: You act as Salesforce Administrator for Climeworks Solutions, working closely with the Senior Salesforce Engineer and Tech team. You configure, maintain, and optimise Salesforce and related commercial tools, enabling efficient and effective system usage.
Analytics, reporting & data quality: You create reports and dashboards in Salesforce, Power BI, and Microsoft tools to monitor business performance and support decision-making. You conduct ad-hoc business analyses and own data quality controls and improvement measures.
Project & change management: You drive operational improvement initiatives, coordinate stakeholders, and communicate outcomes through clear project updates and presentations.
Knowledge management: You develop and maintain an internal knowledge base of processes, tools and enablement materials, making it easy for teams to access and apply best practices.
Education & experience: You hold a university degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Science, Engineering, Sustainability, or a related field and bring at least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment such as consulting, technology, scale-ups, or startups.
Commercial operations & business analysis: You have experience in business analysis, revenue operations, commercial excellence, product management, or similar roles and can translate business requirements into system configurations, data models, reports, and practical business solutions.
Salesforce & business systems: You have hands-on experience administering Salesforce, including user support, permissions, configuration, validation rules, flows, reporting and dashboards. You are comfortable designing solutions, testing and rolling them out, and driving user adoption. You bring experience operating and integrating commercial technology stacks, ideally including marketing automation, CRM extensions, reporting tools, and ERP systems such as SAP. Salesforce Administrator certification is a plus.
Stakeholder management: You enjoy working with and supporting others and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across functions and seniority levels.
Organisation & execution: You synthesise ambiguous challenges into actionable work packages, prioritise effectively, and drive initiatives through implementation with a proactive, diligent, and self-directed approach.
Mindset & ownership: You demonstrate a high degree of ownership, strong business judgement, and a bias for action and continuous improvement. You balance scalability and speed in a fast-changing environment.
Language: You have excellent written and spoken English skills.
