• Annual salary of $110,000 to $140,000 based on experience

• Senior and lead estimators with strong subcontractor relationships may be eligible for compensation up to $150,000

What You’ll Do

• Prepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projects

• Review project plans, specifications, bid documents, and project scopes

• Complete quantity takeoffs and perform cost analysis

• Develop accurate estimates using PlanSwift and Bluebeam

• Request, evaluate, and negotiate subcontractor and supplier pricing

• Partner with project managers to establish and manage project budgets

• Review contracts, change orders, and project scopes to confirm cost accuracy

• Maintain organized estimating files and bid documentation

• Identify potential commercial construction opportunities

• Visit project sites as needed to support estimating activities

• This position is based in Louisville, Kentucky

What You Need

• 5 to 10 years of construction industry experience with commercial estimating experience

• Experience estimating hotel remodels, renovations, brand conversions, or ground-up hotel construction projects is highly preferred

• Strong background in hotel and hospitality construction is highly preferred

• Proficiency with PlanSwift is required

• Experience using Bluebeam is preferred

• Strong knowledge of quantity takeoffs, bidding, cost analysis, and commercial construction methods

• Ability to manage multiple estimates, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills

• Knowledge of the Louisville subcontractor market is a plus

• Field construction experience is a plus
