We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Sales & Estimator to develop new business, manage contractor and developer relationships, prepare project estimates, and grow sales within the commercial and multifamily construction markets.

This is not an entry-level or general retail sales position. We are specifically looking for candidates with experience in commercial construction, construction estimating, building materials, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, interior finishes, or a closely related industry.

Job Summary

The Commercial Construction Sales & Estimator will be responsible for generating new business, developing long-term customer relationships, estimating commercial projects, and managing sales opportunities from initial prospecting through project completion.

This position will work directly with general contractors, developers, builders, property managers, and multifamily construction professionals to provide flooring, countertop, cabinetry, and interior finish solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, developers, builders, property managers, and commercial construction professionals
• Identify and pursue new commercial and multifamily business opportunities
• Sell flooring, countertops, cabinetry, and interior finish products and services
• Review construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, and project requirements
• Prepare estimates, bids, proposals, and RFP responses
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through project completion
• Coordinate with field operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution
• Attend networking events, industry meetings, and trade shows
• Build and maintain a strong network within the commercial construction industry
• Stay informed on construction activity, market trends, and competitive products

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in commercial construction sales, construction estimating, building materials sales, flooring sales, or a closely related industry
• Experience working with general contractors, developers, builders, property managers, or multifamily clients
• Experience preparing estimates, bids, proposals, or RFP responses
• Ability to read and understand construction plans, specifications, scopes of work, or project requirements
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, project timelines, and sales cycles
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven
• Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the assigned territory
