Commercial Contract Manager
The Commercial Contract Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Singapore with international experience in construction industry. This role is responsible for managing the end-to-end lifecycle of commercial contracts, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating terms with suppliers, partners, and customers. Daily activities include coordinating with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, assessing contractual risks, and ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards. The Commercial Contract Manager will monitor contract performance, support procurement activities, provide commercial guidance to project teams, and maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting. The role also involves and participate in tender stage, continuous improvement of contract templates, and processes to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Qualifications
- Strong contract negotiation skills, with a track record of securing favorable commercial terms.
- International experience in commercial management and commercial strategy within a corporate or project-based environment.
- Proficiency in contract management, including drafting, review, and lifecycle administration.
- Relevant procurement experience, particularly in managing supplier agreements and sourcing activities.
- Advanced analytical skills for evaluating risks, pricing, and commercial implications of contract terms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related field; professional certifications in contract or procurement management are an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions.
- Experience working in an international or regional role, ideally within Singapore or the broader Asia-Pacific region and Middle East region.
