Commercial Contracts Administrator

Third Coast is an offshore focused midstream company headquartered in Houston, Texas. Our operations are primarily located along the Gulf Coast and deep-water producing regions in the Gulf of Mexico. We're seeking a local candidate for a fulltime, temporary Contracts Administrator role in our Lighthouse Midstream Services division. Position includes benefits package and is expected to last approximately 6 months.

Working closely with other team members, internal business partners, and external customers, the Contracts Administrator ensures agreements are accurately processed from proposal through execution and system setup.


Responsibilities

• Process contracts and amendments for Commercial Services from drafting to final execution of the documents
• Process Transaction Confirmations for Purchase and Sales, from drafting to final execution of Transaction Confirmations based on NAESB Standards and Tariff Requirements
• Process Capacity Release requests based on NAESB Standards and Tariff Requirements
• Respond to data requests from internal and external customers needed for decisions impacting business growth opportunities
• Calculate contract MCF and convert to MMBTU for contract set-up, amendments and other contractual changes
• Asset setup/configuration and manage existing assets in the Quorum system.
• Work closely with the Legal, Scheduling, Accounting, Contracts and Client Commercial groups.
• Respond to Audit Requests from internal and external auditors
• Perform various daily, weekly, monthly reporting activities per management request
• Other duties as assigned


Working Conditions

• Hybrid schedule of downtown corporate office and remote workdays
• Assigned schedule varies per business needs and rotational schedule, which includes on-call support, weekend, and holiday coverage
• Frequent periods of seated computer work


Education and Qualifications

• 3 - 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred
• Knowledge of oil and gas, midstream industry and capacity release preferred
• Knowledge and understanding of industry terminology (NAESB, FERC, Tariff)
• Experience in Quorum is preferred
• Advanced knowledge of Excel; general typing and computer knowledge
• Strong customer service skills as this position is the day-to-day “face” to the shipper community
• Must be organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated and team-oriented individual with the initiative and ability to multi-task
