Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
As our Commercial Credit Analyst, you will utilize independent decision making skills in order to analyze commercial credit and residential construction requests, determining the risks involved in loaning money or extending credit. Work with the Business Lending staff to process commercial relationship annual reviews and site inspections. Collaborate with the branch network to cultivate loan, deposit and business services growth with the goal of developing full business banking relationships for current and potential members.
You’re the person responsible for creating a positive member experience by ensuring limited risk. It’s important that you maintain a high level of confidentiality, security, and safety. Communication with internal and external members is an important aspect of this role.
Education and/or Experience Requirements
- Associate degree, or comparable college experience, required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in loan underwriting required, business underwriting preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a financial institution required.
- Ability to work with minimal direction and demonstrate proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with time pressures and multiple priorities within a team setting.
