Commercial Executive
Summary
Drives revenue growth in West Africa by executing sales strategies, prospecting new clients, and managing deals for a manufacturing or industrial company.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Business Development
- Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue targets and align with company objectives.
- Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, cold calling, networking, and industry outreach.
- Deal Closing: Manage the complete sales cycle—from initial contact and product demonstrations to contract negotiation and final closure.
- Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify opportunities and potential risks.
2. Relationship & Account Management
- Client Retention: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Product, and R&D to ensure customer needs are addressed effectively.
- Issue Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing queries, complaints, or technical concerns promptly.
3. Operational & Administrative Support
- Documentation: Manage commercial documentation including contracts, pricing lists, and billing records.
- Reporting: Prepare sales forecasts, performance reports, and presentations for senior management.
- CRM Management: Use CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) to track leads, customer interactions, and sales pipeline metrics.
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: BBA/MBA- Sales & Marketing
Language Proficiency:
- Fluent in English and French (minimum intermediate level required).
- Additional Indian languages will be an advantage.
Experience: Candidates with sales/marketing experience in the following industries are preferred:
- Steel or other manufacturing industries
- FMCG or FMCD sectors
- Hydrocarbon and lubricants industry
International Exposure:
- Experience working in African markets is mandatory.
