Commercial Fence Sales / Estimator – Fence Factory Moorpark

$28–$35/hour DOE + commission | Full-time | Medical, Dental, Vision | Pension & Profit Sharing

We need a go-getter who lives in plans, takeoffs and contractor bids — a self-starter who builds their own pipeline and closes work. If that isn't you, save us both the time.

Fence Factory has been a leader in Southern California fencing for decades. Our Moorpark branch is hiring a Commercial Salesperson / Estimator whose entire focus is commercial projects: reading plans, estimating accurately, and winning work with general contractors, developers and property managers.

What You'll Do

• Estimate commercial fence, gate and related work strictly from plans, specs and bid documents
• Perform takeoffs, build material lists and price jobs with real margins
• Bid ITBs / RFPs, write clear proposals and follow up until the job is won or lost
• Build and own relationships with GCs, developers, architects and property managers
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks as needed
• Hand sold jobs cleanly to production so they install right and on time
• Work out of our Moorpark branch with field visits across Ventura / LA County as needed

What You Need

• Proven experience estimating from construction plans (fencing preferred; commercial construction estimating strongly valued)
• Ability to read blueprints, site plans and specs and do accurate takeoffs
• Valid California driver's license and a clean driving record
• Strong written and verbal communication with contractors and customers
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office; Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff or similar a plus
• Clean DMV; must pass drug test and physical
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

• $28.00–$35.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus commission on gross sales
