About the opportunity:
You’ll play a key role in supporting the financial performance of Charter Hall’s $15 billion retail portfolio. Partnering closely with Asset Managers, Fund Teams and senior stakeholders, you’ll provide the insights, governance and commercial analysis that help drive better decisions, stronger portfolio outcomes and long-term value for our investors, tenant customers and communities.
How you’ll make an impact:
Shape portfolio performance by leading financial reporting, variance analysis and key metrics across Charter Hall’s Retail assets, helping teams make clear, commercially informed decisions.
Turn budgets and forecasts into real insight by partnering with State Leads, Leasing and Centre Management teams to identify risks, opportunities and ways to optimise asset performance.
Support smarter leasing and income outcomes by analysing deals, rent reviews, incentives and recovery calculations to help drive stronger financial results across the portfolio.
Connect capital spend to strategy by supporting capex tracking, forecasting and investment analysis, ensuring spend is aligned to asset plans and long-term value creation.
Lift the way we work by improving systems, data quality and reporting processes, helping create a more efficient, scalable and insight-led Retail Finance function.
What you’ll bring to the team
Future focused capabilities including self-awareness, resilience, agility and generosity.
CA/CPA qualified/ close to qualified (or similar) with minimum 5 + years finance/ commercial analytical and reporting experience.
Prior experience in leadership or team management is required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial skills.
Demonstrated organisational skills, including an ability to plan, set and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines and to work independently, efficiently, and effectively.
Excellent analytical skills, ability to build intuitive, dynamic and robust Excel models.
Ability to simplify complex problems into a clear logical framework to support analysis.
Prior experience in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Prior experience in Property Finance is preferred.
Experience at creating, validating, reviewing, and analysis of large data sets.
