Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

This position will report to Nash Plumbing and Mechanical, LLC, a subsidiary of HB Global.


* Perform installations, repairs, and maintenance of commercial HVAC and Refrigeration systems, including but not limited to split systems, package units, chillers, boilers, and refrigeration equipment.
* Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks such as cleaning coils, checking refrigerant levels, inspecting electrical components, and replacing filters.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC and refrigeration system malfunctions, identifying root causes and recommending appropriate solutions.
* Conduct repairs and component replacements based on diagnostics performed.
* Document all service and repair work accurately and thoroughly.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
* Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and tools.
* Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing clear explanations of work performed.
* Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance technical skills.
* Participate in On-call rotation or emergency service.
* High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of a vocational HVAC program or apprenticeship is a plus.
* Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
* Basic understanding of HVAC systems and principles.
* Familiarity with common hand and power tools used in HVAC work.
* Ability to read and interpret basic schematics and wiring diagrams.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions and confined spaces.
* EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
* Willingness to learn and grow within the HVAC industry.
