  • Weekly on-call stipend when scheduled for rotation
  • Additional pay for call-outs and qualifying after-hours work
  • Company-provided major tools, technology, uniforms, and PPE
  • Safety boot reimbursement
  • Paid company and manufacturer technical training
  • Company-paid medical coverage for associate-only plans
  • Dental and vision coverage
  • Company-paid life insurance
  • Company-paid short- and long-term disability coverage

  • Floating holiday
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Annual profit sharing
  • Employee referral bonus program
  • Year-round commercial facility work
  • Opportunities to grow with an expanding division
The Work
You’ll maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial HVAC and related building systems at your assigned customer facility and, as needed, other TFS customer sites.
Depending on the facility and customer assignments, equipment may include:
  • Packaged rooftop units
  • Split systems and heat pumps
  • Boilers
  • Chillers
  • Refrigeration equipment
  • Building automation and HVAC control systems
  • Associated mechanical and electrical components
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Performing preventive maintenance, inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and equipment adjustments
  • Identifying mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues and completing the right corrective action
  • Responding promptly to service requests, emergency conditions, and alerts from building automation and control system monitoring
  • Clearly communicating equipment conditions, repair needs, recommendations, and completed work to customer representatives and Perfection Group leadership
  • Maintaining accurate service, inspection, maintenance, equipment, and compliance records
  • Following company and customer safety requirements, including PPE, lockout/tagout, and site-specific procedures
  • Building professional working relationships with facility managers, customer representatives, vendors, and teammates
  • Traveling among assigned customer facilities as contracts, schedules, and operational needs require
  • Supporting the Service division with preventive maintenance when TFS customer-site needs and scheduling allow
  • Participating in a rotating on-call schedule and providing after-hours support as assigned
What You Bring
  • Three or more years of commercial HVAC service or maintenance experience
  • Universal EPA Section 608 certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, an acceptable driving record, and the ability to travel among customer locations
  • Working knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, electrical and mechanical components, refrigeration principles, and preventive maintenance practices
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, equipment documentation, and service instructions
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and documentation skills
  • Comfort using HVAC tools, diagnostic equipment, mobile technology, and service software
  • Clear, professional communication with customers and teammates
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and follow through
  • Commitment to safe, accurate, high-quality work
Experience with commercial building automation or control systems, or working in occupied commercial, institutional, or campus-style facilities, is highly valued.
A technical school certificate or formal HVAC training is preferred. Comparable commercial field experience will also be considered.
Work Environment
You’ll work in mechanical rooms, on rooftops, and throughout occupied customer facilities, indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. The role involves standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting or carrying tools, equipment, and materials, with or without reasonable accommodation.
