Commercial Lines Insurance Associate Account Manager

We are looking for a Commercial Lines Associate Account Manager to support our Commercial Lines team and provide responsive service to our clients. This is a strong opportunity for someone with some insurance, customer service, or administrative experience who wants to build a long-term career in commercial insurance.

You will work alongside experienced Account Managers and Producers while learning how commercial insurance accounts are serviced from new business through renewal. Responsibilities will expand as your insurance knowledge, licensing, judgment, and experience grow.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers with renewals, marketing submissions, new business, and ongoing account administration.
• Assist with endorsements, certificates of insurance, audits, cancellations, billing questions, and other service requests.
• Gather client, exposure, loss history, and underwriting information for new and renewal business.
• Process client and carrier requests accurately and maintain complete, current documentation in the agency management system.
• Prepare client communications, proposals, coverage summaries, schedules, and other insurance documents.
• Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal team members regarding the status of requests and outstanding information.
• Monitor assigned tasks, meet established deadlines, and keep Account Managers informed of progress or concerns.
• Develop working knowledge of commercial insurance coverages, policy terminology, carrier requirements, and agency procedures.
• Participate in training, continuing education, and professional development.
• Support department initiatives, process improvements, and special projects as assigned.
