The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. - Shepherd cases from their opening stage to their close, including courtroom and arbitral proceedings.

- Develop litigation strategy for state and federal court matters.

- Draft and argue dispositive motions, including summary judgment motions.

- Prepare pleadings, briefs and other substantive legal documents.

- Handle written discovery and take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses and experts.

- Take part in mediations, settlement conferences, hearings and trials.

- Keep clients and opposing counsel informed about case developments and strategy.

- Track deadlines and caseloads and make sure court rules and scheduling orders are followed.

- Guide and oversee less senior lawyers and support personnel.

- Support business development and client relationship building.
