  • Manage commercial disputes involving contracts, warranties, mechanic's liens, bond claims, and business torts.

  • Develop litigation strategies and handle matters in state and federal courts.

  • Draft pleadings, substantive motions, briefs, and other legal documents, and argue motions as appropriate.

  • Lead discovery, including preparing and responding to written requests and taking and defending depositions.

  • Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, arbitrations, and trials.

What We're Looking For

  • Six to 10 years of commercial litigation experience, including independently managing complex cases end to end.

  • Colorado bar admission, or admission expected within approximately one month.

  • Experience with breach of contract and business tort matters, as well as taking and defending depositions.

  • Trial or arbitration experience and the ability to discuss litigation results in detail.

  • Graduation from an accredited U.S. law school and a law school GPA of at least 3.0.

  • Experience at a boutique or small-to-midsize firm is valued; construction or defects litigation and Colorado mechanic's lien or bond claims experience are helpful.
