Develop annual and medium-term commercial strategies aligned with business objectives.
Identify new markets, customer segments, and revenue opportunities.
Evaluate market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions.
Develop strategies that strengthen KIC's market position and brand presence.
Support the launch of new products and market expansion initiatives.
2. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
Set and monitor sales targets across all territories.
Develop sales plans that align with production capacity and demand forecasts.
Coach and mentor regional sales leaders and associates.
Build a performance-driven sales culture focused on accountability and customer success.
Monitor sales performance and implement corrective actions where required.
3. Customer & Key Account Management
Build and maintain relationships with strategic customers and distributors.
Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.
Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the customer journey.
Resolve commercial issues promptly while protecting KIC's interests.
Gather customer insights to improve products and service delivery.
4. Marketing & Brand Development
Guide marketing campaigns that support business objectives.
Ensure consistent brand positioning across all customer touchpoints.
Support digital marketing, product launches, and promotional activities.
Strengthen KIC's reputation as a trusted and innovative food systems company.
5. Financial Performance
Develop commercial budgets and sales forecasts.
Monitor gross margins and profitability across product categories.
Recommend pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability.
Improve customer payment performance in collaboration with Finance.
Identify opportunities to increase average customer value.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Agribusiness, Commerce, or a related field.
A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or related discipline will be an added advantage.
A minimum of seven (7) years' progressive commercial leadership experience, with at least three (3) years managing sales or business development teams.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.
Experience managing key accounts, pricing, contract negotiations, and market expansion.
Strong understanding of the agribusiness, FMCG, food production, or value chain sectors
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence business decisions.
