Commercial Payments Manager
You will identify and evaluate payment, banking, and digital asset infrastructure providers and partnership models. You will research markets and customer needs, assess commercial opportunities and trade-offs, approach potential partners, and prepare recommendations for leadership. You will collaborate with Sales and Account Management, monitor market trends, and coordinate provider onboarding requirements with internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate payment, banking, and digital asset infrastructure providers.
- Research markets, providers, business models, and partnership opportunities.
- Assess payment and infrastructure opportunities for revenue, margin, cost, and market-expansion potential.
- Approach potential partners and gather market feedback.
- Compare infrastructure setups and partnership models.
- Prepare provider and model recommendations for commercial leadership.
- Explore payment opportunities that expand product offerings, geographic coverage, customer value, and revenue potential.
- Work with Sales and Account Management to understand customer needs and market demand.
- Monitor payment and digital asset market trends.
- Coordinate with internal teams on selected providers, business models, and onboarding requirements.
- Maintain an overview of provider options, market findings, proposals, and next steps.
Requirements
- Experience in payments, fintech, crypto payments, banking infrastructure, digital assets, or related infrastructure businesses.
- Understanding of payment products, infrastructure partnerships, and provider ecosystems.
- Experience researching, evaluating, or working with external infrastructure providers.
- Understanding of payment flows, settlement, provider onboarding, commercial terms, and compliance constraints.
- Ability to compare infrastructure models and explain business trade-offs.
- Ability to connect infrastructure opportunities with revenue, margins, geographic expansion, customer demand, and product capabilities.
- Ability to communicate with senior external-provider representatives.
- Analytical and communication skills.
- Fluent English.
