About Legacy Commercial Property
We See What Other's Don't
Legacy Commercial Property is a family-owned commercial real estate company with four generations of Main Street entrepreneurship behind it. Our story started in 1946 with a small appliance shop in central Illinois, grew into Family Video, the nation’s #1 movie rental chain, and became one of the most valuable retail real estate portfolios in the country. Today we own 700+ properties totaling more than 6 million square feet across 20+ states and have developed more than 1,000 retail sites for some of the fastest-growing restaurant and retail brands in America.
We handle everything under one roof: site selection, leasing, design, construction and property management. We own what we build and hold it for the long term, which means our team sees projects through from groundbreaking to Grand Opening and beyond.
Decisions here are made quickly, directly and with a long-term mindset. No red tape, no runaround. We’re do-ers and curious problem-solvers who tell it like it is, and we’re looking for people who want to help build America’s towns.
Headquartered in Brentwood, Tennessee, LCP is a division of Highland Ventures Ltd., whose family of businesses also includes Hoogland Restaurant Group, Highland Pure Water & Ice and Intune Physical Therapy.
