Summary

The Commercial Account Manager supports commercial and business development for natural gas pipeline and midstream assets, focusing on revenue generation, customer relationship management, contract negotiations, market analysis, and asset optimization.

Petrolink Energy, LLC is a midstream gathering, processing, and treating company with more than 3,200 miles of pipeline operating across 22 counties in eastern Oklahoma. Our work supports a wide range of contracts and product types within the energy industry.

The Commercial Account Manager will support commercial and business development efforts across natural gas pipeline and midstream assets, with a focus on revenue generation, customer relationship management, contract negotiations, market analysis, and asset optimization. This role is ideal for an analytical, commercially minded professional who can evaluate opportunities, work cross-functionally, and help develop strategies that maximize revenue on existing assets while identifying opportunities for growth. This position reports directly to the Vice President of Business Development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow relationships with new and existing customers, including producers, local distribution companies, power generators, wholesale marketers, traders, industrial customers, and natural gas transmission pipelines.

  • Support and lead commercial negotiations for new agreements, renewals, amendments, and related contract documentation.

  • Review and evaluate existing contracts to assess profitability, risk exposure, commercial obligations, and potential value-creation opportunities.

  • Develop strategies to maximize revenue, optimize asset utilization, and support growth across existing and potential pipeline and midstream assets.

  • Monitor natural gas commodity markets, regional supply and demand trends, competitor activity, pipeline tariffs, regulatory developments, and industry news to inform commercial strategy.

  • Prepare market analysis, commercial narratives, financial analysis, revenue forecasts, budgeting inputs, and presentation materials for internal stakeholders and leadership.

  • Coordinate with engineering, operations, scheduling, accounting to execute commercial opportunities.

  • Participate in business strategy, planning, and project development discussions focused on the direction and growth of the commercial business.

  • Monitor gas scheduling activity and serve as back-up scheduler.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
