Commercial Sales Account Manager

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Account Manager to join our growing sales team. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing commercial AV and systems integration projects — from conference room and boardroom technology to enterprise-wide AV infrastructure and ongoing service agreements. The ideal candidate brings established relationships in the commercial AV space, a consultative sales approach, and the drive to grow a book of business within a rapidly expanding company.
Requirements
Required Skills and Background
- Experience with automation and control systems (Crestron, Savant, Control4)
- Experience with distributed HD/4K video and AVoIP systems (Dante, NVX, SDVoE)
- Working knowledge of Q-SYS or other DSP/audio platforms
- Basic knowledge of secure wired and wireless networks
- Video teleconferencing and unified communications platforms (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms)
- IP video surveillance systems
- Soundproofing and acoustical treatments
- Digital telephone systems and voicemail
- Experience writing proposals in iPoint or similar estimating software
- Basic knowledge of boardroom design and usage
- Basic knowledge of lighting control systems (Crestron, Lutron)
- Distributed audio systems
- Digital signage and video walls
- Projection systems and screens
- Paging and sound masking systems
- Computer proficiency: Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and CRM software
- Positive attitude, detail-oriented, and willing to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
- 1-2 years of AV or technology sales experience
- Strong presentation, public speaking, and closing skills
- Knowledge of the commercial audio-visual market and major brands (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Bi-Amp, Shure, Atlona, Planar)
- Bachelor's degree
- Low-voltage design and engineering knowledge
- Cybersecurity awareness for converged AV/IT networks
- Interior motorized window treatments and shades
- iPoint software proficiency
- Familiarity with Mac computers
- CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I certification
License/Certification
- Valid Colorado Driver's License (required)
- CTS Certification a plus
