Position Summary

The Commis Chef is responsible for supporting the kitchen brigade in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banqueting operations. Working under the guidance of senior culinary leaders, this role performs food preparation, assists with food production, and ensures that assigned kitchen sections are fully prepared and maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll do

• Prepare ingredients and assist with food production according to recipes, specifications, and quality standards.
• Support breakfast, lunch, dinner, and banqueting operations across a variety of culinary outlets.
• Maintain assigned kitchen sections and ensure all areas are fully prepared for service periods.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist senior chefs in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes using premium ingredients.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure ingredients are stored correctly and safely.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient working environment throughout service.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the smooth operation of the kitchen brigade.
