The Commissary Kitchen, or Food Lab, is our high-volume, central food production facility on Madison's east side that prepares food for all of our Wisconsin locations. We're hiring part-time and full-time Prep Cooks to join the team ASAP.

Prep Cook Position

At our Central Commissary Kitchen, you'll prep sauces, dressings, meats, and veggies for our restaurants, with careful attention to quality, cleanliness, packaging, and labeling.

This is high-volume, hands-on work, so expect plenty of chopping, washing, and time on your feet! Attention to detail and following food safety protocols are a must. The work can be repetitive, but the team will keep things fun. Pinky promise!

• Able to stand, walk, be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 30lbs regularly and 50lbs on occasion.
• Able to work with common allergens such as gluten, dairy, eggs, etc.
• Comfortable using ovens, grills, knives, kitchen tools, and other equipment.
• Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures.
• Comfortable working in loud, fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work for early start times.
• Must be 18+ years old to apply.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. (IDs required at Orientation).

Prep Kitchen Scheduling

The Central Commissary Kitchen operates Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 6AM-8PM and Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays from 6AM-2PM.

Ideal prep candidates will be available to work 1-2 afternoon shifts per week (12PM-8PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays) and 2 Saturday shifts per month (6AM-2PM).

Part-time or full-time hours are available.
