They are seeking a hands-on Commissioning and Project Engineer to oversee technical coordination, field execution, and client support for complex projects throughout the United States. To thrive/succeed as the Commissioning and Project Engineer, you should have:
- Hands-on experience in degassing, nitrogen services, or industrial gas operations
- Strong understanding of nitrogen systems, vapor behavior, and gas-phase risks
- Experience in industrial services, terminal operations, plant operations, or process engineering
- Ability to lead field personnel and direct live operations safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills and responsiveness with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Safety-first mindset and commitment to engineering rigor and operational excellence
- Engineering degree or equivalent operational experience preferred
Your responsibilities as the Commissioning and Project Engineer will include:
- Own technical coordination and execution of degassing and nitrogen service projects throughout the U.S.
- Translate approved engineering designs, methods, and risk assessments into executable field plans
- Maintain continuous technical communication with clients from inquiry through project completion
- Participate directly in field operations and provide leadership during critical activities
- Direct and support operators during degassing operations and technical transitions
- Coordinate closely with engineering teams to ensure that approved methods are followed
- Exercise stop-work authority when safety or technical concerns arise
- Train and mentor operators on procedures, best practices, and operational standards
- Identify, communicate, and proactively escalate technical risks or deviations
- Help establish disciplined, repeatable execution processes that build client confidence and operational success
