Looking for experienced Mechanical Commissioning Engineers to join a major data centre project in Sines, Portugal.

This is a client-side opportunity, with the project team looking to build a strong team of Mechanical CX Engineers.

THE ROLE

Working client-side, you'll be responsible for overseeing and driving the mechanical commissioning process from testing through to successful handover.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate mechanical commissioning activities

• Oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning and testing

• Review commissioning procedures, test scripts and technical documentation

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and commissioning teams

• Monitor progress against commissioning programmes

• Witness and sign off testing activities

• Identify, troubleshoot and drive resolution of commissioning issues

• Manage snagging, punch lists and system close-out

• Support integrated systems testing and client witnessing

• Ensure mechanical systems meet project specifications and performance requirements

• Maintain commissioning records, reports and handover documentation

• Work closely with the wider MEP and project teams

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experienced Mechanical Commissioning / CX Engineers

• Strong mechanical systems and HVAC knowledge

• Data centre / mission-critical experience highly desirable

• Client-side or contractor-side commissioning experience

• Strong understanding of commissioning processes and documentation

• Confident coordinating multiple contractors and project teams

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
