About the job

  • Commissioning & Testing: Lead pre-commissioning inspections, functional testing, load bank testing, and Level 1–5 Integrated System Testing (IST) for diesel generator systems; troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control systems; generate reports via commissioning software.
  • Site Execution & Planning: Review engineering drawings and method statements; ensure installation compliance, safety standards, and project schedule alignment; manage proper handover records.
  • Coordination & Safety: Work directly with project managers, OEM vendors, consultants, and client teams; assign testing equipment; strictly enforce HSE guidelines and site risk assessments.

Skills / Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years dedicated to commissioning diesel generator systems, with proven background in data center or mission-critical environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with load bank testing, generator control panels, synchronization systems, ATS, protection systems, and end-to-end Level 1–5 commissioning processes.
  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Location & Availability: Open to contract-based employment with willingness to work on-site in Johor and Cyberjaya.
