Commissioning Engineer (Power generation/ Marine engine)

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct application and installation inspections at project sites and liaise with customers and project engineers.
• Prepare, start up, test, and commission generators, pump sets, and marine propulsion engines for vessels, offshore, and land-based applications.
• Support workshop mechanical and electrical works, equipment testing, and rental operations as required.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Prepare commissioning reports and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in power generation packaging for industrial, marine, electric power, or oil & gas applications.
• Experience with generator controls, synchronization and parallel operation; able to read mechanical/electrical drawings and proficient in basic IT.
• Strong communication, analytical, and report-writing skills; Caterpillar engine experience is an advantage and willing to travel overseas for commissioning works.
