Commissioning Program Manager

Summary

Leads commissioning of complex weather radar and satellite systems, coordinating engineering, manufacturing, and field teams to ensure customer acceptance and operational readiness.

Our Radar Roots

ENTERPRISE ELECTRONICS CORPORATION is a turnkey solution provider of weather detection systems. For over 50 years, we have designed, manufactured, and installed weather radar systems and satellite ground stations. We are committed to providing innovative weather radar and satellite technology enabling customers to make critical decisions based on environmental related events.

The Mission

As Commissioning Program Manager, you’ll lead and shape how complex radar and ground-station programs move from “built” to “proven,” with ownership of readiness, risk, and customer acceptance. This role exists to drive outcomes at the point where schedule, quality, and field reality meet.

Responsibilities:
- Own commissioning strategy, plans, and gates across multiple programs
- Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, field teams, and customers to close readiness gaps
- Manage program schedules, budgets, risks, and change control tied to commissioning
- Lead customer-facing reviews, acceptance criteria, and handover documentation
- Standardize commissioning processes and metrics; coach teams for repeatable excellence

Qualifications:
- 5 years in program/project management with field commissioning or integration
- Strong cross-functional leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making
- Working knowledge of test/verification, configuration control, and technical documentation
- Comfortable onsite in Enterprise, AL or traveling worldwide; schedule may include weekends

If you want strategic impact and the authority to steer commissioning from plan to proof, apply now.

A Day, Calibrated

You start onsite by scanning the commissioning dashboard: what’s green, what’s drifting, and what needs a decisive nudge. Mid-morning is a tight sync with engineering and manufacturing—quick, respectful, and focused on removing friction before it reaches the field. After lunch, you’re in a customer touchpoint aligning on acceptance expectations and the proof they’ll want to see. Later, you review open risks and change requests, then tune the next set of milestones so the team isn’t surprised by reality. Some weeks include weekend windows when the work has to happen when the system is live—and you’re the steady hand keeping it crisp, safe, and on track.

Your Total Rewards

Competitive total compensation is more than a number—so we back it with practical coverage and time you can actually use:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Life Insurance
- Paid Time Off (PTO)
