Commissioning Technician
Westfalia Technologies is a leader in providing automated solutions for plants, warehouses, and distribution centers. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Commissioning Technician to join our Commissioning team. This role supports the installation, testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of automated warehouse and material handling systems at customer sites throughout the United States.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, technically curious, and enjoys working in fast-paced industrial environments. This position offers opportunities to build experience with industrial automation, controls systems, PLC troubleshooting, and advanced material handling technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and customers in the field.

Job Functions:
- Support commissioning and startup activities for automated warehouse and material handling systems.
- Perform system testing including I/O verification, E-stop validation, motor rotation checks, and sensor adjustments.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and controls-related issues using schematics, meters, and diagnostic tools.
- Assist with PLC and automation troubleshooting activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors to validate system functionality and interface logic.
- Document testing activities, issues, and system updates accurately and timely.
- Participate in customer and installer training during startup and commissioning activities.
- Maintain compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
